Salsa and Guacamole

Salsa

4 Fresh Tomatoes
1 Can Diced Tomato
2 Cans Tomato Sauce
1 Yellow Onion
1 Bell Pepper
1 Bunch Cilantro
2 Jalapeno Peppers
1 Tablespoon Cumin
1/4 Cup Vinegar (White or Apple Cider)
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Dice the Fresh Tomatoes. 
  2. Small chop half the yellow onion, and dice the other half.  
  3. Dice the bell pepper.  
  4. Dice the Cilantro.
  5. De-seed the Jalapenos and dice very small.
  6. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
  7. Taste with spoon and add ingredients as needed.  The salsa should be good on its own, without the salt or flavor from a chip.

Guacamole

6 Avocados
1 Cup Regular Sour Cream
1/2 Yellow Onion
1 Tablespoon Cumin
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Salsa from above

Instructions
  1. Dice the 6 avocados, and then mash with a potato masher until half is mashed but chunky.  
  2. Dice the yellow onion.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Taste with spoon, and add ingredients as necessary.
